{"id":457,"date":"2025-09-24T16:25:03","date_gmt":"2025-09-24T14:25:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/karagounisfoundation.gr\/?page_id=457"},"modified":"2026-02-06T11:10:35","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T09:10:35","slug":"foundation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/karagounisfoundation.gr\/en\/foundation\/","title":{"rendered":"Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group foundation-main-row\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column left-col\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<h3>Establishment and purpose of the Foundation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Dimitrios and Eleni Karagounis Foundation<\/strong> was founded in 2019,<br>by Presidential Decree and the signatures of the Ministry of Education &#038; Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Finance.It is a non-profit, with a main purpose of continuing the idea and focusing on reducing the inequality of opportunities for retraining young economically disadvantaged families.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:201px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<h3>Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The main purpose of the Foundation is to provide scholarships to support the study of first, second or third cycle Greek students and students (eg undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, postdoctoral) in Greece and abroad.
